Over the past few weeks, Burmor have made their presence felt at a roster of Careers Fairs across many different secondary settings including Spalding Grammar School, St Peter’s School in Huntingdon and Spalding High School.
Having meaningful engagements with the students is fundamental when trying to promote Construction as a career path, and by attending these events Burmor aim to contribute towards providing a positive and informative experience so all students can feel more confident and inspired about their future.
Jack Wycherley (Assistant business manager), Darren Green (Defects and Small Works Manager) and Megan Bemrose (Quantity Surveyor) represented Burmor this year and came away feeling fulfilled due to the vast amount of the aspiring, younger generation that took the time to speak to them about a potential future in the industry.
As a business, Burmor will continue to support their community including events like these. All the schools were seamless in their organisation, communication and hospitality which make them easy to say yes to when being invited each year.
