Growing construction software platform Compliance Chain has newly appointed social value expert Lizz Lee as their new Social Value Specialist. This strategic move comes in response to the company’s continued focus on new platform developments and growth, driven by user experience groups and collaborations with both public and private sector bodies.
Lizz Lee brings with her a wealth of experience, having started her career in Stakeholder Management for a social housing organisation 12 years ago, and later moving to Bid Management for a multi-disciplinary contractor, she has varied experience working alongside SMEs, main contractors and public sector bodies.
More recently, Lizz worked for a procurement body as a Social Value Manager and later provided consultancy support to spearhead the development of Compliance Chain’s social value management solution – a software that supports public and private sector bodies to capture and manage social value delivery on construction projects. It was her key involvement in the development that encouraged this strategic move.
This appointment serves as a solid foundation to support Compliance Chain’s ambitions to support social value managers and bid managers to effectively communicate their social impact and demonstrate value for money to their clients.
Excited about the appointment, Lizz commented:
“Compliance Chain was built with one thing in mind – to provide oversight and transparency on construction projects through data collection housed in a user-friendly platform. Through my experience working on social value plans with SMEs, main contractors, and public sector bodies, I found one clear similarity. The way social value is currently captured and managed is overly complicated and exhausts resources."
“My aim when working with Compliance Chain to develop the Social Value Management solution in 2023, was to ensure that we place platform users at the front and centre of the developments. I am delighted to embrace this new role and continue working with our stakeholders to champion the usability of Compliance Chain and bring it to new audiences."
Adam Cochrane, Head of Operations at Compliance Chain shared his enthusiasm for this new appointment, stating:
“Lizz has been an integral part of the development and success of the Social Value Management solution within Compliance Chain, and we are delighted that she will be joining the team permanently. We eagerly anticipate the fresh opportunities that lie ahead and look forward to forging new connections with clients, partners, and stakeholders on our journey.”
“With this new appointment, we are confident in our ability to provide our existing and future clients with advice and new tools to support them to make an even bigger impact on the communities they work in.”
As the Head of Operations at Compliance Chain, Adam’s role is integral to enhancing our operational efficiency and ensuring our software solutions meet the pinnacle of quality and effectiveness.
