Key Account Manager

Account Manager (Construction Industry) based in our Liverpool office covering all regions. Excellent environment and a business undergoing an exciting period of growth. Hybrid working available (3x days office, 2x days home) salary negotiable upon experience, plus exceptional performance based bonus scheme.

We are presently seeking a Key Account Manager to join the Compliance Chain team to negotiate and promote our dynamic construction software solution across all regions to Private sector supply chain organisations (Contractors, subcontractors, suppliers & professional services)

The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for both sales and construction to connect with potential and existing clients to promote and sell our supplier memberships.

The candidate must be a highly organised, self-motivated, driven individual and will ideally have public/private sector client facing experience in a similar role (although training will be given where necessary). Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary along with experience of using Microsoft packages. 

With a personable and engaging nature, you will be organised and methodical in your approach. This role requires strong common sense, a confident approach, and the ability to be proactive in your work.

You will be responsible for:

• Develop a strategic sales strategy for supply chain partners

• Identify and secure new business opportunities

• Reach out to potential clients and partners via email, phone calls, meetings, and networking events

• Introduce and showcase the company’s product

• Build and maintain relationships with prospects, clients, and industry contacts.

• Attend networking events and conferences to expand the professional network.

• Assist in the development of sales pitches, presentations, and proposals.

• Prepare regular reports on lead generation and business development activities.

Skills & Attributes Required

  • Construction experience/knowledge
  • Sales experience 
  • Professionally presented and a confident/clear communicator
  • A positive and proactive approach to work
  • Flexible and adaptable to a rapidly changing workplace / environment  
  • Computer literate – proficient on Microsoft packages 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
