Compliance Chain granted accreditation as a SSIP Registered Member

Compliance Chain has become one of 27 registered SSIP members who can now perform SSIP assessments.

The construction software platform has been granted accreditation schedules for SSIP as SSIP Approved: Contractor and SSIP Approved: Principal Contractor.

SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) pulls together multiple occupational health and safety schemes in construction, reducing the need for duplicate assessments.

Compliance Chain already prequalifies their Subcontractor and Principal Contractor members against health and safety requirements, supporting them to ensure consistency with industry standards.

To add to its overall offering, Compliance Chain will now offer SSIP assessments to all silver, gold and platinum members at no extra charge.

This decision has been made to ensure all contractors on the platform are up to an industry-recognised standard, without the need to subscribe to several certification bodies.

SSIP assessments can be arranged as part of the membership sign-up process to streamline prequalification and tendering, and existing members can request an assessment if their SSIP certification is due to expire.

Both public and private sector clients (buyers) who use Compliance Chain to manage their own approved or preferred list of contractors can request SSIP assessments for their supply chain, which will be undertaken as part of the prequalification and onboarding process.

We are delighted that we can now offer SSIP assessments to our platform members. Offering SSIP assessments as part of the existing membership package highlights our drive to continually support members in obtaining the highest industry standard certifications, while maintaining a clear, user-friendly, hassle-free experience, without breaking the bank.”

“Our clients who use the Supply Chain Management solution can now ensure their supply chain is up to industry standards and achieve value for money by avoiding unnecessary duplication or differing Health & Safety assessment requirements. We encourage our members who have an SSIP certification due to expire to get in touch to arrange an assessment free of charge.”

Adam Cochrane, Head of Operations at Compliance Chain, expressed his enthusiasm for this new offering, stating:
